3M Scotchkote Electrical Coating FD is a fast-drying liquid sealant that is designed to improve the weather resistance of taped splices. Compatible with Scotch Vinyl electrical tapes, this electrical coating is especially useful for sealing vinyl tape applications subjected to excessive amounts of oil. Provides good adhesion to wood, metal, rubber and plastic. Typical tack time is 12 minutes at 72F / 22C. Suitable for direct burial, direct water immersion or above ground applications.
