Product Overview
The Lutron Maestro 0-10V Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch works just like a Lutron Maestro dimmer with the addition of Lutron’s advanced motion sensing technology to automatically and gradually turn the lights off. The 0-10V Vacancy Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch is rated to work with all drivers that provide a current source, up to 8A switching LED drivers and 50mA max sink current. Install in a single pole, 3-way with existing switch, or with Maestro companion switches (MA-AS/MSC-AS) to switch from up to 9 locations. Use the raise/lower buttons to adjust the light level for any activity or set the preset level to ensure lights always turn on to your desired light level automatically. The passive infrared (PIR) sensor, covered by a tamper resistant lens, detects heat from occupants moving and has a 180-degree field of view (900 sq ft major motion & 400 sq ft minor motion coverage. Unlike other manufacturers, Lutron sensors use Cross Correlation Technology (XCT) to also detect fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading a book – ensuring lights won’t turn off inadvertently when you’re still in the room. Easy to read programming buttons directly on the sensor allow for customization of both the dimmer and the sensor’s functions, such as timeout, low-end trim, and sensitivity. Lutron sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes) to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. The low-end trim is the LED’s dimmest stable light level to which the dimmer can be lowered to. The sensitivity of the PIR sensor can also be changed so it only detects larger motion. Available in 10+ colors. Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
