3M™ Scotchlok™ Female Disconnect Nylon Insulated is used for electrical and mechanical use. The disconnects are UL Standard No. 310 (3M File No. E70512) and CSA Standard No. 22.2 (3M File No. LR22190) for use on stranded copper (AWG) wire only. This nylon-insulated female disconnect can be used in factory installations with steel or brass tabs (UL and CSA), and it can be used with brass tabs for field applications (UL only); strain relief is required. The female disconnect connects permanently to the pre-stripped ends of stranded copper wires, and they are used for field or factory wiring with UL Recognized strain relief. 3M™ Scotchlok™ Female Disconnect Nylon Insulated will provide a reliable, permanent connection to stranded copper wires in field or factory wiring applications.
