Its butted-seam barrel is covered with a seamless brass sleeve with a funnel shape to help guide wires into position accurately as well as a built-in wire stop, and it's insulated in red nylon for a secure, reliably performing fit. The insulation resists abrasions and has a stepped design to make proper crimping simple, and it's constructed from copper with a tin coating for great conductivity with corrosion resistance.
