Crouse-Hinds series EBMC hinged cover motor control enclosures are used in damp, wet, dirty, dusty hazardous locations for across-the-line starting, stopping, speed changing and reversing of polyphase AC induction motors. They are also used to provide line disconnect means and short circuit protection, and to provide motor overload and undervoltage protection.
