Product Overview
Type S non-reversing magnetic starters are for motor control applications. NEMA Size 1 starters have ratings of 2 HP at 115 and 3 HP at 230 single phase and has a maximum rating of 27 Amps. This 2 pole starter is for single phase applications. The pressure wire connectors will accept 14 to 10 AWG (2.5 to 4 mm2) solid or stranded copper wire. Starter has a 220/240 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This contactor doesn't have an enclosure. Starter is 6.77 inches tall, 3.50 inches wide and 4.22 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S starters are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.
