Type L multipole lighting contactors are use to manage lighting loads and to control electrical heating. 8903L lighting contactors are available in either mechanically held or electrically held versions. This is a mechanically held device. Contacts can switch up to 30A fluorescent and 20A tungsten lighting loads. The contacts are field convertible from normally open to normally closed. This 12 pole device has 12 normally open contacts. Replacement contact kits are available for this lighting contactor. Interchangeable coil is available in a wide variety of common voltages up to 600 VAC. Contactor is supplied with a 440/480 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this lighting contactor. Enclosure is 12.69 inches tall, 7.81 inches wide and 6.03 inches deep.
