Tony Flakus
I started working at the Lawrence Stanion in 1989. While in high school, and college, I worked part-time in the warehouse, at the counter, as well as inside sales. In 1992, I transferred to Kansas State University and worked at the Junction City and Manhattan stores. Once I earned my business degree from K-State, I returned to Lawrence, working inside sales. In 1997 I became assistant manager. In 2001 I was assistant manager for both the Lawrence store and the Stanion in Kansas City. In 2002 I became manager in Kansas City. I have been working for Stanion at one capacity or another, for the past 20 years.
